Miki - making a poster

「映画ポスター」こんにちは！ Tokyo Cowboys カメラマンの MIKI です！

ついに Nopperabou のポスターが完成しました。おもて面はみなさんもご覧になった事があると思います。ビル＆ベティのスクリーニングの時にご紹介させて頂いたものです。こちらは私のフォトスタジオ、YAMATO STUDIO で撮影しました。キャストとヘアメイク、特殊メイク、スタイリスト、みんなで集まって作りました。普段はファッション、人物の撮影が多いのですが、今回は映画ポスター。とても楽しみにしていました。クリスとたくさんの映画ポスターをリサーチし、デザインを決めてから撮影に取りかかりました。役のキャラクターを表現する。それぞれの個性を映し出す。色々な課題の中、みんなの専門分野をおおいに生かして作りました。うら面は撮影現場にて。本編の中で出てくる階段で撮影しました。こちらはレトロ、クラシックなイメージでスタジオとはまた違ったイメージに仕上げました。 Tokyo Cowboysではいつも新しい経験をさせてもらっています。ポスター制作もとても楽しかったです。もう映画が出来上がるのが待ち遠しいです！また近々お知らせ出来ると思います。それまでポスターお楽しみ下さい☆ Director of Photography

Hey everyone! Tokyo Cowboys' cameraman Miki here with another update. I'm so excited because the posters for "Nopperabou" were finally delivered. The posters are double sided just like the posters we had for "Sure Thing." We did the shooting at my studio, Yamate Studio, in Tokyo. The cast, make up team, crew, and special effects team all got together and did their best. Normally I don't get a chance to work on a movie poster, so it was very exciting. I did a lot of research with Chris about different poster designs. We really wanted to give you an idea about who the characters in the movie are and the feeling of the movie through the poster. It was a tough process to get the right look, but I think we nailed it! On the back side, we did some shooting on location in order to create a retro poster. We wanted something that felt like a 1950's monster movie. Shooting on location gave us a very raw feeling, gritty look. It came out pretty good too! I'm always getting to try new things working with Tokyo Cowboys. I learn so much and have so much fun doing it. I'm going crazy waiting for the editing on the movie to finish. I can't wait to see the entire thing! Look forward to another big announcement from us soon! Until then, I hope you all enjoy the posters. Miki
